    Tijana Ilic is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Team Leader of the laboratory for microbiological control at PIK-Becej A.D. in Becej, Serbia.

    Her expertise lies in conducting microbiological analyses on various substances such as milk, food components, feed, and water. This includes determining the total number of bacteria, isolating and identifying various strains like coliform bacteria, Escherichia coli, Clostridium spp., Proteus spp., Enterococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and more.

    Moreover, Tijana is involved in developing methods for further microbiological research in collaboration with the Faculty of Technology at the University of Novi Sad. She also conducts research on additives for food and feed with bactericidal and fungicidal properties, emphasizing food safety and the implementation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

    She holds an impressive educational background having completed her BSc, Specialist, and MSc studies at the University of Novi Sad.

    Previously, Tijana Ilic has held significant positions such as Head of Department of Microbiology and Specialist of Food Microbiology at the Institute for Occupational Safety.
