Tiffany Shaffery

Tiffany Shaffery is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Assertive Professionals, a company she established in July 2015. Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, Assertive Professionals specializes in providing services within the defense contracting sector and has garnered recognition for its contributions to the industry, including placements on various prestigious lists such as Inc. 5000 and America's Top 100 Small Business Visionaries.12

Education and Background

Tiffany holds a Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Operations from American Military University and an Executive MBA from Virginia Tech. She is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) among other qualifications.12

Professional Experience

Prior to founding Assertive Professionals, Tiffany accumulated significant experience in project management and business operations:

• Director of Program Management Office at ProCleared LLC (2014-2015)
• Program Manager / Business Operations at CACI International Inc. (2010-2014)
• Served in the U.S. Army National Guard and as a soldier in the U.S. Army, where she held roles including Military Police Officer and Human Intelligence Collector, completing tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.12

Leadership Roles

In addition to her role at Assertive Professionals, Tiffany has served as the Board Chair and President of NC Emerging Leaders with AFCEA NC Fort Bragg from November 2021 to November 2022.1
