Thomas Moroz

Thomas Moroz is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in social entrepreneurship, knowledge management, financial management, and international consulting.

As the Founder and Director of the Lehigh Valley Social Impact Center, Tom leads a space focused on supporting social entrepreneurs and fostering collective impact initiatives in the Lehigh Valley, with aspirations to join the global Impact Hub network.

In addition to his role at the Impact Center, he serves as a Senior Advisor at Techné Verde, a research and consulting group in San Francisco and New York, where he provides consulting services to non-profit and philanthropic clients, specializing in knowledge management, organizational development, and cross-organizational collaboration on social justice and sustainability issues.

Previously, Tom held the position of Global Head of Knowledge Management at the Open Society Foundations (OSF), overseeing the development of an open source collaboration platform called KARL, now utilized by OSF's global network and other international organizations.

Before his knowledge management role, he contributed as Director of Special Projects at OSF, spearheading organizational restructuring initiatives and assuming interim executive management responsibilities in various regions.

With a foundation in financial management, Tom has experience as a consultant at Deloitte Consulting, and as a Controller in the hospitality industry. He also shares his expertise in managing complex global operations and leadership development.

Tom's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Penn State University.

His areas of interest and expertise encompass social entrepreneurship, international consulting, systems development & deployment, and leadership development.
