Thomas Kissling
Thomas Kissling, born in 1980, is an accomplished architect and academic based in Switzerland. He studied architecture at ETH Zurich, where he trained as a draftsman prior to his formal education. Kissling graduated in 2010, having been mentored by Professor Wolfgang Schett. Since then, he has been involved in academia as a research assistant at ETH Zurich and later as a research associate at the Chair of Professor Günther Vogt since 2016.1
His research and teaching focus on transformation processes in the Alpine landscape and the interplay of digital and analog technologies in design methodology. He has co-edited several publications, including Landscape as a Cabinet of Curiosities (2015) and Mutation and Morphosis (2020), and served as the editor for Solid, Fluid, Biotic (2021) .1
