Thaddeus Guldbrandsen

Thaddeus Guldbrandsen is an experienced academic leader and higher education consultant with a strong background in collaborative leadership and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.1 He currently serves as the Dean of the School of Sciences and Humanities at Wentworth Institute of Technology, a position he assumed in 2022.12
Prior to his role at Wentworth, Guldbrandsen held several significant positions in academia:
- Vice Provost of Research and Engagement at Plymouth State University
- Founding Director of two university-based research centers at Plymouth State University and the University of New Hampshire

In the six years leading up to his current position, Guldbrandsen worked as a consultant for over two dozen universities, colleges, and schools in the United States and Asia.1 His most recent consulting work was with King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia, where he assisted in attracting and supporting top scientists and engineers, with a focus on women scientists.1
Guldbrandsen's educational background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Anthropology (summa cum laude) from the University of New Hampshire
- Doctoral degree in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill12
