Tess Cacciatore

Tess Cacciatore is a renowned social entrepreneur, best-selling author, keynote speaker, and award-winning producer/filmmaker. She is the Founder and CEO of Global Women's Empowerment Network. Tess has dedicated her career to advocate for transformative storytelling that empowers people worldwide.

She studied Bachelor of Fine Arts, Theatre, Music, Dance, English at Stephens College and graduated high school at Dowling High School Des Moines IA. Tess' career in the entertainment and technology industries spans over 25 years. Besides, she has participated in various international forums, including the United Nations (Geneva and New York), speaking on behalf of women, children, human rights, homelessness, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

Tess is committed to using entertainment, technology, and philanthropy to bridge people and cultures globally. She has won numerous awards, including the Mobile Excellence Award in 2011 for the GWEN Alert, and the Fete d' Excellence within the Sub-Commission for Human Rights at the United Nations in 2003 for her work in edu-tainment.

Tess advocates for human rights and provides a safe space for people from all cultures and ages to reveal their stories and begin the healing process. She achieves this through Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN), which uses the power of media and technology to empower people to share their stories and transform their lives. GWEN offers a safe place for people worldwide through live-stream events, online-curriculum, and in-person workshops.
