Tryboy Hsiao's nearly 30 years of experience in the telecom, mobile, payment, and apps/games industries has made him an innovative high-tech entrepreneurial manager with an excellent track record in developing concepts into successful operations and growing businesses at scale. He is currently the Head of Strategy at GIANT Protocol and was previously the Head of Strategy at Kaleyra, Chairman, and CEO at Hook Mobile, and COO at Way Systems. Tryboy also served as the Founder-CEO-CTO at InphoMatch-Mobile 365, which was later acquired by Sybase and now part of SAP.
His earlier career included RF engineering positions for Nextel, Bell Labs, and Comcast, where he was deeply involved in the design and launch of the first digital cellular system in the U.S. in 1994. He also spearheaded the development of all phases of the Nextel Partners wireless venture, from business planning and raising capital to the eventual IPO in 2000.
Tryboy is also an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University and a member of the Technology Advisory Council at Harman International. He studied SM, Management of Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and BSEE, Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers.
