Director/Artist
Terril Calder is a talented Métis (Indigenous) artist hailing from Fort Frances, now based in Toronto, Canada. She pursued a Fine Art Program at The University of Manitoba, specializing in Drawing with a keen interest in Performance Art/Film. Additionally, she completed a 3D Animation and Film Course at the Computer Technology Institute in Toronto.
Fueled by her passion for Hybrid Media and Fusion Art, Terril Calder delves into creating innovative Stop-Frame Animated films where she takes on the roles of writer, director, producer, and animator. Her works have gained international recognition, including an Honorable Mention at The Sundance Film Festival, a Canadian Genie Award Nomination, and a spot on TIFF's top ten list in 2011 for her co-creation 'Choke' with Michelle Latimer.
Aside from her creative endeavors, Terril Calder serves as the Director of Riled Rabbit Films and has previously held the position of Animation Director/Artist at Spiffy Stuff.
