Teri Willey
Teri Willey is an accomplished executive, board member, and seed fund manager with a passion for driving innovation and growth in the industries she serves. With experience in restructuring and transitioning organizations and teams during periods of risk and change, she is adept at navigating complex challenges while still honoring mission, obligations, and stakeholder needs. Currently, Teri manages two early-stage seed funds for IU Ventures, an affiliate of Indiana University, while also serving on the board of directors for several organizations, including Vascugen, Diagnotes, and Periodic. In her role as vice president of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, she oversaw industry engagement, new ventures, and intellectual property licensing, supporting scientific innovation and progress. Throughout her career, Teri has held various positions with academic institutions, venture funds, and businesses, including founding chief executive of Cambridge Enterprise, Ltd., technology transfer and business development roles at Northwestern University and Purdue University, and advising policy makers, universities, and companies. Teri holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Idaho, a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Indiana State University, and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Notre Dame Business School.
