Tejas Prabhakar

Tejas Prabhakar is a Senior Application Engineer at Onto Innovation, specializing in semiconductor processes and materials science. He holds two Master of Science degrees: one in Physics with a concentration in Materials Science from the University of Toledo and another in Instrumentation Engineering and Applied Physics from the Indian Institute of Science. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy.

In his role at Onto Innovation, Tejas provides technical assistance to clients in the semiconductor industry, leveraging his extensive knowledge in optical metrology, material characterization, process control, and data analysis. Prior to his current position, he worked at Nanometrics and was involved in research at the Wright Center for Photovoltaic Innovation and Commercialization, focusing on materials characterization and process control for photovoltaic devices.1
