Teddy Poneman
Ceramic Artist
Teddy Poneman is an artist and educator based in Port Chester, NY. He is actively involved at the Clay Art Center where he manages an independent studio practice, is engaged in teaching youth classes, and undertakes various studio responsibilities. Teddy is currently dedicated to a social practice art project called "Bowling Together."
Teddy's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Politics, Studio Art, and Education completed at Bates College, where he excelled with a GPA of 3.85.
Throughout his career, Teddy has held significant roles in various organizations. He served as a Westchester Community Arts Fellow at the Clay Art Center, a Team Leader at City Year, a Phillips Fellow at Bates College, a Residence Coordinator, and Team Leader at Bates College Residence Life, as well as a Resident Artist at Chautauqua School of Art.
