Teal Cooper, a San Diego State University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism Media Studies, is a forward-thinking entrepreneur who is making waves in the coffee industry. As the co-founder of VendiBean, Teal and her brother Tristan Cooper saw an opportunity in the market and worked hard to create a company that would fill the need for high-quality, conveniently located coffee available 24/7.
Starting as a barista at the touch of a button, VendiBean quickly expanded to the corporate and education sectors with its two machine models, a complimentary subscription service for enhancing office culture and employee morale, and a pay-per-cup model for universities, military bases, and healthcare institutions. With clients such as Amazon, HP, COX, Volcom, and UCSD, VendiBean has quickly made a name for itself.
COVID-19 caused a shift in VendiBean's business model, resulting in the launch of their direct-to-consumer line of coffee products, including specialty coffee blends and superfood-infused wellness pods. The company's goal is to create a brand that brings joy and value to people's lives, and with its continued growth and innovation, it is on the right track.
Teal's professional experience includes positions as a Marketing Intern at Vyral Marketing and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. Her expertise revolves around entrepreneurship, marketing, and the coffee industry, while her interests include maximizing time, living purposefully, and creating value for others.
