Tarek Fahl

Tarek Fahl, M.D., is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of DocResponse, a company he established in 2015. Based in Houston, Texas, DocResponse specializes in patient engagement, intake, and telemedicine solutions designed to enhance clinic efficiency, documentation, and revenue for healthcare providers. Under his leadership, the company developed a digital check-in and clinical decision support tool that has been recognized for its accuracy in medical diagnostics, outperforming major healthcare technology firms in peer-reviewed studies published by Harvard Medical School.12

Dr. Fahl has a strong background in orthopedic surgery, having completed his medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and his residency at Temple University Hospital. He also undertook a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to founding DocResponse, he served as a managing partner at Texas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, where he significantly increased the practice's revenue and expanded its facilities.134

In addition to his clinical and entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Fahl has been involved in healthcare technology investments, including a seed investment in a healthcare appointment solution that was acquired by the Advisory Board in 2014.13
