Tarah Phillips is a woman of many talents and a passion for technology. She began exploring the tech world under the guidance of her father, an audio/video industry expert who encouraged her to always push buttons and figure things out for herself. Her curiosity led her on a journey from bartending in San Diego to teaching in inner-city Phoenix to living in Dublin, Ireland, and eventually landing in Silicon Valley. There, she worked for Apple and Yelp, honing her skills in problem-solving and communication. Tarah is currently an IT Business Systems Analyst at Yelp, where she continues to find joy in uncovering user problems and creating solutions through technology. She is an introverted conversationalist and a lover of all topics, from Jellyfish to sustainability. In her free time, she serves on the board for Women at Yelp and enjoys playing the ukulele, sailing, and cooking. Tarah holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Arizona State University and recently completed the Code in Place course offered by Stanford University.
