Tara Thomas is a professional with a diverse range of experience in the fields of management, risk and compliance, strategy, and economics. She studied at the prestigious MIT Sloan School of Management where she earned her Master of Business Administration in Management, and she also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
In her professional career, Tara has held several high-level positions, including Vice President of Risk and Compliance at Teach For America where she oversaw the organization's risk and compliance programs. Prior to this, she served as a Senior Managing Director of Strategy and Risk at Teach For America and as a strategist at Roi Ventures, Llc. She has worked as an MBA intern in global regulatory affairs and safety at Amgen and as an independent consultant for Massachusetts General Hospital. Tara Thomas also worked as a Senior Consultant with IBM.
