Tara Sullivan-Butrica, LCSW

Tara Sullivan-Butrica, LCSW, is the Chief Clinical Officer at Advantage Behavioral Health, a role she assumed in October 2023. She has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, having worked as an addiction counselor, mental health therapist, and clinical supervisor. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from La Salle University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Widener University.23

Before her current position, Tara served as the Vice President of Clinical Services at Advantage Behavioral Health and held various leadership roles in organizations such as Northeast Treatment Centers and COMHAR, Inc. Her expertise includes managing clinical operations, compliance, and the integration of mental health and addiction services. She is trained in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).23

In her practice, Tara specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. She emphasizes a personalized approach to therapy, utilizing various therapeutic methods to cater to her clients' unique needs.12
