Tamar Alexanian
Tamar Alexanian is a well-educated individual with extensive legal and advocacy experience, both domestically and abroad. She has studied at prestigious institutions such as Vanderbilt University and University of Michigan Law School, where she gained experience as a student attorney in the Child Advocacy Law Clinic and Child Welfare Appellate Clinic. She has also served as an Executive Editor at Michigan Journal of Race & Law and as a Graduate Student Instructor for Women's & Gender Studies at University of Michigan. Her legal experience extends beyond academia with her various internships at organizations such as the Legal Aid Society of NYC and the Refugee Rights Clinic at University of Cape Town. Her passion for helping others is evident through her volunteer work as a Junior Coach for Playworks and as an English Teaching Assistant for Fulbright Association.
