Catherine Oates

Catherine Oates is a highly skilled literary manager and book proposal packaging expert with a wealth of experience in the publishing industry. Her impressive educational background includes a Master of Arts in English/Creative Writing from Stanford University, as well as degrees in French Language and Literature and Art History. She also holds a Museum Studies Certificate from Northwestern University.

Throughout her career, Catherine has worked in a variety of roles, including Founder & CEO of Contexture Learning, Advisor of Content Strategy at Chet, and Writer and Production Developer at Sacramento Film Project. She has also worked as a Communications Specialist at DoubleKnown and as a Grant Writer and Interactive Communication Platform Designer at New York State Smart Grid Consortium.
