Tal Ben Shalom

Tal Ben Shalom is the Chief Architect at BioCatch, a position he has held since September 2021.12 He has extensive experience in backend server architecture and product development management. Prior to joining BioCatch, Tal worked at Viber from 2016 to 2021, where he served as a Solutions Architect and later took on the role of Spam Prevention Lead. In these roles, he was responsible for planning new features, managing data processes, and developing scalable event-driven systems for spam prevention.12

Before his tenure at Viber, Tal was the CTO at CartMagnet from 2014 to 2016, where he developed a native commerce solution for publishers. He also worked as a Software Architect at Sela Group in 2015, focusing on the architecture of distributed cloud systems.12 Earlier in his career, Tal held positions at Microsoft as a Senior Consulting Architect from 2008 to 2014, and at Ness Technologies as a Software Architect and Program Manager from 2007 to 2008.12

Tal Ben Shalom holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel. His master's studies focused on variations of Recurrent Neural Networks.12
