Tak Miyata

Tak Miyata is a successful entrepreneur, investor, and founding partner at Scrum Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on startups in technology, sports, and smart cities. With a keen interest in sports, he has also co-founded Sports Tech Tokyo, a platform that seeks to bring together athletes, investors, and startups in the sports industry. Tak's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of J-Magic, a mobile gaming company in Japan. He later went on to establish Neven Vision, a software company in the US. Prior to founding Scrum Ventures, Tak held several senior positions at Mixi, Inc, where he was responsible for the company's global business and alliances. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Waseda University and has studied at the School of Science and Engineering and Shonan High School.
