Taisha Lewis Trotman, JD

Taisha Lewis is a highly skilled corporate, M&A, and securities lawyer who has made her mark in the legal field by working at several prestigious law firms in Canada. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa/Université d'Ottawa and has also completed a professional development program in secured lending and debt finance at York University - Osgoode Hall Law School. Additionally, Lewis has a minor in French from McMaster University, where she studied under the Honours Arts & Science program.

As a student-at-law and associate, Lewis worked at LaBarge Weinstein and Fasken, respectively. She also completed a legal internship at BMO and worked as a summer student, legal assistant, receptionist, and central and office services clerk at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, gaining valuable experience in different legal roles. In 2021, Lewis re-joined LaBarge Weinstein as a corporate partner.
