Guided by a mentor in Climatology during university, he transitioned from being a TV meteorologist to leading the development of innovative weather software, which eventually propelled him into business development in the US and globally.

His global perspective on weather impacts was further enriched by experiences, like meeting a Minister of Civil Defense in South America, emphasizing the critical importance of pre-positioned aid in disaster-prone areas.

Currently, Tad Maguire is driven by the mission of Climavision to enhance weather forecasting, providing crucial information for individuals, businesses, and governments to prepare and mitigate the impacts of severe weather events.

With a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Northern Illinois University, Tad Maguire has held various leadership roles in renowned organizations like Climavision, The Weather Company (an IBM Business), and WSI Corporation, showcasing a rich background in meteorology, business development, and strategic weather partnerships.
