Suresh Kannan is a highly accomplished Aerospace Engineer with a keen interest in developing autonomous systems that operate in complex and challenging environments. Kannan combines sensing, planning and control algorithms with machine learning to create verifiable and certifiable autonomous systems that deliver high-performance and efficient output. He has an impressive academic background, having studied MEng Aerospace Engineering at the University of Manchester and completed a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kannan has worked across various organizations, showcasing his expert knowledge and skillset in the field of autonomous systems. He has previously worked as a Research Engineer II and a Senior Research Scientist at Guided Systems Technologies, a Visiting Researcher at Rolls-Royce and as a Research Scientist and Chief Scientist at NodeIn. His most notable work is that of high-performance, high-integrity flight control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. He is passionate about algorithms and computing infrastructure that enable robust autonomous behavior in robots.
