Sunny Babbar

Sunny Babbar is an Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts, where he teaches in the MDes Graduate Interaction Design Program. He has a diverse background in user experience design, having worked as a User Experience Designer at IBM and previously at Apple. His expertise spans various fields, including interaction design, XR (Extended Reality), and industrial design, which he integrates into his teaching and professional practice.

In addition to his academic role, Babbar is actively involved in community service, particularly through cycling events aimed at raising awareness and funds for AIDS/HIV charities. He has participated in the AIDS Lifecycle since 2007 as both a cyclist and a volunteer.12 His design philosophy emphasizes collaboration across disciplines to tackle complex problems and create impactful user experiences.1
