Dr. Sujaya Banerjee

Dr. Sujaya Banerjee is a highly accomplished Change Management professional with over 30 years of experience driving Cultural Transformation through Leadership in organizations like British Gas, Lowe Lintas and Partners, and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. She is the Founder and CEO of Capstone People Consulting, a new age consulting firm that specializes in Leadership and Change with leading Indian and Multinational organizations.

Dr. Banerjee is a Director on Board of the Academy of Applied Emotional Intelligence, which is committed to building a compassionate society and does pioneering EQ work with leading organizations, including the government. She is also the author of the much-acclaimed book ‘SWITCH - How 12 Indian Companies Managed Change Successfully’ and a regular contributor to the Times of India and Human Capital Magazine.

As a sought-after speaker and thought leader, Dr. Banerjee chairs ‘The Emerging Markets Summit’ in the UK regularly, and has been a TEDx speaker on the themes of Innovation and Change and Conscious and Unconscious Biases. She is a champion for Diversity and Inclusion and passionately advocates for equal opportunities and inclusion. Dr. Banerjee has won several international accolades like the Learning Elite Award – CLO USA and the Learning in Practice Award – CLO USA.

Dr. Banerjee studied for her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Performance Management and Organisational Development at Mumbai University and earned her Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Personal Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). She is the Founder of the Women Leadership Forum of Asia and the Learning & OD Roundtable, a forum for practitioners with a worldwide membership of over 22,000+ HR, Learning & OD professionals.
