Sudhir Dean

Sudhir Dean is a counsellor with extensive experience in mental health and social services. He worked as a counsellor at the Kirketon Road Centre (KRC) in Kings Cross, Sydney, which is a free and anonymous clinic providing comprehensive care to at-risk populations.12 At KRC, Dean was involved in presenting at conferences, such as the NADA Conference 2021 "Enhancing Connections".5
Prior to his role at KRC, Dean worked in various positions, including:

Dean has a strong background in trauma healing and has been involved with experiential psychotherapy and meditation practice since the late 1970s.1 He holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences (Counselling) from Think Education (Jansen Newman Institute) and a Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Centre: Justice Resource Centre in Boston.1
As of November 2023, Dean started a new position as Counselor - Refugee and Asylum Seeker Health at cohealth.3 Before this, he was actively seeking new opportunities in the field.4
Dean is a Level 3 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and is trained as a Counselling Supervisor. He is also a member of the ACA's College of Supervisors.1 His approach to counselling involves creating a supportive environment for personal discovery and awakening, often using 'parts work' and tailoring his responses to each client's unique needs.1
