Subhabrata Mukherjee

Subhabrata (Subho) Mukherjee is a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research (MSR) specializing in Natural Language Understanding, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning. He received the prestigious 2018 SIGKDD Ph.D. Dissertation Runner-up Award for his exceptional doctoral work, placing his research among the top-3 best worldwide in machine learning and data mining. Currently, Subho leads the Resource-efficient AI at Scale initiative at MSR, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of learning massive deep neural networks. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science with highest honors from the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Germany and has previously worked at Amazon Research, IBM Research, and Google Research. Subho's past endeavors include leading projects on building the Amazon Product Knowledge Graph and contributing significantly to information extraction efforts.
