Stian Skulstad

Stian Skulstad is a professional with a diverse background in software engineering and business development.

He has held leadership positions, such as being the leader of Start Bergen, and has been involved in various entrepreneurship programs worldwide, including Early Stage in Norway, European Innovation Academy in Italy, and The Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship in San Francisco.

Stian has a wealth of experience in startups, having served as a founder, an employee, and an investor.

His expertise spans creating iOS apps in the finance sector to working with Machine Learning and Web Development in a Y Combinator (YC) startup in San Francisco, showcasing his versatile skills in technology.

He is driven by results and thrives in dynamic, goal-oriented team environments, underpinned by his strong passion for both technology and business development.

Stian Skulstad's educational journey includes a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from the University of Oslo (UiO), studies in Entrepreneurship at University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor's degree in Information Science/Studies from the University of Bergen (UiB), and participation in entrepreneurial studies at the European Innovation Academy.

On top of his formal education, Stian has also acquired a foundation in economics and social sciences during his studies at Askøy Videregående and completed his high school education at Peninsula High School.

Throughout his career, Stian has contributed his skills and knowledge to various organizations, including roles as a Software Engineer at Tipio, an Intern at Schibsted, a Software Developer at Eika, the Co-Founder and COO of Stily, a Scout at Katapult Accelerator, a Software Engineer Intern at ScopeAI, a Teaching Assistant at University of Bergen (UiB), an Advisor and Interviewer at Speak Education.

He has also been part of initiatives such as Early Stage Norway, served as a Trooper in the Norwegian Armed Forces, and worked as a Shift Leader at Meny AS.
