Sondre Rasch
Co-founder and CEO SafetyWing (YC W18)
Sondre Rasch is presently focused on building SafetyWing, a global social safety net initiative that operates as a membership platform. Prior to this, he co-founded SuperSide and worked as a policy advisor for the government of Norway.
In terms of education, Sondre holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with additional studies in Entrepreneurship from UC Berkeley, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from Norges Handelshøyskole (NHH), and further educational experiences at Y Combinator in the W16 and W18 Batches, as well as BSc-level courses in Computer and Information Science from the University of Bergen (UiB).
Sondre Rasch currently serves as the Co-founder and CEO of SafetyWing. Previously, he was the Co-founder of Superside, a Policy Advisor in the government of Norway, a Fellow at Civita, a Member of the City Council at Bergen City Council, and the Co-Founder of NorJobs and SolidHost.
