Stewart Baker

Stewart Baker is a seasoned lawyer with a diverse background in cybersecurity, intelligence, and national security.

Having studied at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law for his JD and Brown University for his A.B., Baker possesses a strong educational foundation.

Baker is currently a lawyer at Steptoe & Johnson LLP and has held various significant roles in prestigious organizations such as The Homeland Security Experts Group, AFIO, and the National Security Institute at Antonin Scalia Law School.

His expertise extends to serving as the former Assistant Secretary for Policy at the Department of Homeland Security, General Counsel at the National Security Agency, and Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Education.

Beyond his legal career, Baker has been actively involved in numerous advisory boards focusing on cybersecurity, including the Hebrew University of Jerusalem International Cyber Security Research Center, TruSTAR Technology, HawkEye 360, and Allure Security Technology, Inc.

His contributions also span across academia, having been a part of the Advisory Committee at Brown University's Executive Master in Cybersecurity.

Baker's unique experiences include being the Chairman of the Board at AFIO - Association of Former Intelligence Officers and participating in weightless cosmonaut training on the Russian 'vomit comet.'
