Heather Vitale is an accomplished research analyst with a diverse background in political science, cybersecurity, risk management, international and national security, and intelligence.

Her primary research interests include Islamist terrorism in the Middle East, cybersecurity and cyberwarfare, technology's impact on democracy and civil society, as well as gender and feminism.

Heather is dedicated to expanding her technical and data skills through certifications like Security+ and Network+, data science certifications, and acquiring proficiency in Python.

Her educational journey includes a Master's Degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from George Mason University, along with studies in Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University and a B.S. in Political Communication from Emerson College.

Heather Vitale has held key roles in various organizations such as Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Peraton, and previous positions at institutions like CENTRA Technology, Inc., Sourceree, and the Turkish Heritage Organization.

She has also been involved in academia and research, with experiences at the National Defense University, the Kennedy School of Government's Taubman Center for State and Local Government, and the Penn Kemble Democracy Forum Fellow at the National Endowment for Democracy.
