Steven Renwick

Steven Renwick is a British technology entrepreneur based in Berlin, with a diverse background in healthcare, fintech, and technology.

As a product-focused CEO and founder, Steven has a strong commitment to creating businesses that have a meaningful impact on people's lives.

He founded Satago, which initially focused on assisting small and medium-sized businesses in enhancing credit control and cash flow through technology. The company later transitioned into a fintech enterprise offering invoice finance solutions.

Steven successfully secured approximately £5 million in funding through a mix of debt and equity from venture capitalists and angel investors, allowing the business to expand and grow its team to 16 members.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Steven worked with Rocket Internet, spearheading the launch of an eCommerce venture in the UK and overseeing multiple projects from the company's Berlin headquarters.

His early career involved consultancy in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, where he provided insights on intellectual property valuation, deal structuring, and mergers and acquisitions. Steven's educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee, a PhD in Genetics from UCL, an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and he studied High School at Monifieth High School.

Throughout his career, Steven has held various positions such as Chief Product Officer at Regis24 GmbH, Advisor at Smart Infrastructure Ventures, and Founder & CEO at Satago Ltd.

He has also been associated with organizations like Entrepreneur First, Rocket Internet GmbH, Dalani Home & Living, and PharmaVentures Ltd, showcasing his versatility and expertise across different industries and domains.
