Steven Bracewell is a survivor of a rare form of leukemia, AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia), who battled the disease twice within two years and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant.
Despite facing isolation and health challenges, Steven found solace in his lifelong passion for video games and technology, which helped him feel connected and distracted from the harsh reality of his situation.
Inspired by his journey, Steven founded Gamers Beat Cancer, a non-profit organization aiming to support individuals battling cancer through the positive impact of gaming.
Steven's educational background includes studying Multimedia Design at De Montfort University, with prior qualifications in Cobol Programming, Art & Design, and Media Studies from Burnley College.
With professional experience ranging from multimedia design to IT and marketing, Steven has worked at companies like Cubicle Centre and Novus Interiors Ltd, while also freelancing in web graphic design and camerawork.
Additionally, Steven has a background in music as a professional DJ, producer, and promotions & marketing manager during his tenure as Self Employed.
