Yoli Origel, also known as Yolanda Origel, is the Executive Director and Founder of Cancer Kinship, an organization dedicated to supporting cancer patients and survivors. Yoli has over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, having held various roles that have equipped her with the skills necessary to lead Cancer Kinship. Her journey with cancer began when she was diagnosed, leading to extensive treatments including chemotherapy, a bilateral mastectomy, and multiple reconstructive surgeries. Additionally, Yoli carries the BRCA 1 gene mutation, which heightened her risk for other cancers, prompting her to undergo a hysterectomy as a preventive measure.12
