Corporate Telecom Account Manager
Steven Adkins is a Sales & Provisioning Specialist at Toll Free Forwarding with a passion for healthcare interpretation. As an Associate Healthcare Interpreter (AHI™), Steven volunteers at Ranchos Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center as a Medical Interpreter where he has obtained an extensive training background for working with the Limited English population. Steven’s highest achievement to date is his completion of the 40 hour MAGNUS Interpreting Program in Medical Interpretation (Spanish <> English), where he earned his certification. Steven received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish & Latin American Studies from the University of Kansas and also holds a GED in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
In addition to his current role, Steven has worked as a Senior Account Executive at Lear Capital, a Culture & Language Healthcare Interpreter at Ranchos Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center, a Bilingual Operator and Interpreter at 1-800-Dentist, and an Evening & Weekend Resource Manager at Provenzano Resources, Inc. Steven has also held management positions such as Manager of Accounts, Sales, and Affiliate Department at ATMCash.com and Manager, Business Development at ATMCash.com, dba FraudTec. Before embarking on his professional career, Steven worked as a Store & Kitchen Manager at Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Steven’s professional mission is to bridge the language access gap for those who identify as Limited English speakers within the healthcare industry, reducing and eliminating any communication barriers.
