Steve Wiseman is a seasoned Senior Test Consultant with over 20 years of experience in delivering major testing programs within the financial services and retail sectors. With an impressive background in managing program-level testing, he has successfully delivered the testing for several large financial transformation programs while adopting either a traditional waterfall approach or applying an agile approach. He has advised and implemented test automation tools, and has experience in identifying and mitigating testing risks and issues. His vast experience in liaising with and managing senior stakeholders and third-party suppliers has helped him build strong relationships beneficial for the duration of the program.
With accountability for the testing of many large projects and testing budget inception, Steve ensures that he fully understands the expectations of the stakeholders while ensuring that third-party suppliers fully understand the business expectations. He can lead team sizes varying from 50 to 100+ and has accountable for both onshore and offshore testing resources. Steve reports at the program-level either to the program director or the senior program manager, and the testing budgets are typically £5 million upwards.
