Steve Pacheco is the President and CEO of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), a position he has held since June 2019. His extensive background in advertising spans over 30 years, with significant roles including Chief Marketing Officer at Ducks Unlimited and Director of Advertising & Sponsorship Marketing at FedEx, where he was involved in producing numerous award-winning campaigns, including 12 Super Bowl commercials.1
Pacheco's career with AAF began during his college years, and he has since held leadership positions at various levels within the organization, including President of the Memphis Advertising Federation and Chairman of the AAF National Board of Directors. He is recognized for his contributions to the industry, receiving accolades such as the AAF Barton A. Cummings Gold Medal Award and being named Advertising Person of the Year by The Advertising Club of New York in 2013.1
In his current role, Pacheco focuses on adapting AAF's programs and services to meet the evolving advertising landscape while advocating for key industry issues such as diversity and inclusion.1
