His educational background includes a MD in Medicine from Washington University in St. Louis, a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Minnesota Medical School, and a BS in Chemistry from Bethel University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Calvin has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as the US HHS Secretary's Advisory Committee on Infant Mortality, The Minnesota Birth Center, Southside Community Health Services, Bethel University, Allina Hospitals & Clinics, Minnesota Perinatal Physicians, The University of Arizona, and El Rio Neighborhood Health Center in Tucson, AZ.
