Steve Allen

Steve Allen, a seasoned veteran of the broadband industry, boasts an impressive career spanning more than 30 years. He began his career auditing taps in the back of a pickup truck and eventually developed advanced communications tools for Broadband. He is a 2nd generation NCTA Cable Pioneer and a 30+ year member of the SCTE. Steve is licensed and certified in most areas of broadband and marine electronics and holds a CSLB 944752 license as a California Contractor.

Steve holds a BA degree in Telecommunications from California State University-Chico and an Associate of Arts Degree with a Broadcasting emphasis from Diablo Valley College. Steve has held various positions throughout his career, including Western Regional Sales Engineer at TVC Inc, Contract Project Manager at Sint Maarten Cable TV in the Caribbean, and most recently President at Sundance Broadband.

Steve's extensive experience serving in diverse roles within the industry is matched by his active participation in various organizations, including the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), where he previously served as Regional Director and Western Vice Chairman.
