Kevin Taglang is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications policy, legislation, regulation, electronic media, broadcasting and cable, broadband, digital television, and universal service.
He leads Benton's efforts in monitoring, analyzing, and advocating for the public interest in telecommunications legislation, regulation, and policymaking, while also overseeing the development of online and print publications.
Kevin holds a Master's degree in Communications Policy from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.
He currently serves as the Executive Editor at the Benton Institute for Broadband & Society and has previously held editorial and managerial roles at the Benton Foundation as well as a senior telecommunications policy analyst position.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Kevin has also contributed to the community through his role as a Team Manager at the Evanston Soccer Association.
