Stephen Younger

Stephen Younger is a seasoned commercial litigator based in New York. With over 35 years of experience, he is currently associated with Foley Hoag, having previously been a litigation partner at Patterson Belknap since 1983.

Stephen has a robust background in representing various entities including financial institutions, mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate developers, and multinational companies in commercial, securities, and real estate disputes. His expertise extends to trying numerous cases in federal and state courts, as well as before arbitration panels.

Apart from his litigative work, Stephen is also well-versed in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and is often sought after to serve as an arbitrator or mediator in high-stake matters. He is particularly skilled in arguing appeals, with a focus on appellate courts in New York.
