Stephen Shelton

Stephen Shelton is a highly experienced software engineering manager and tech lead, who has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry such as Capital One and OpenDNS. With a concentration in History and Science, and a minor in Psychology from Harvard University, he has had a diverse career in the finance and technology industries. Stephen is recognized for his exceptional ability to deliver, and for his leadership skills that he brings to any role he assumes.

At Capital One, Stephen Shelton led a full-stack team for bank account onboarding, built out the MONEY app backend, virtual buckets APIs, and the Exchange UI for streams. He also served in diverse fintech-related roles at Capital Group, a long-term asset management firm. During his time at OpenDNS, where he served as a Sales Operations Manager, he helped sales and marketing operationally scale from $30M to $50M ARR.

Stephen Shelton has also played an active role in many organizations. He is currently a Co-Founder at a stealth startup and has served as a NextGen Board Member at LIFT, Inc. In addition to his professional achievements, Stephen Shelton has strong people skills that he applies to manage diverse teams.
