Stephen Muscarella is the Cofounder and Panman at Field Company, a manufacturer of American-made, heirloom-quality cast iron cookware.12 He founded the company with his brother Chris Muscarella in November 2014.12 The company was named after their maternal grandmother and was inspired by vintage cast iron pans from the 1930s that they inherited.1
Before Field Company, Stephen was the Owner and Artisan at Left to Right Furniture from November 2011 to March 2015.2 He also worked as an Event Coordinator at Get Motivated Seminars, Inc. for about a year.2
Stephen is passionate about building, making, and fixing things, as well as outdoor activities and environmental stewardship.2 He has a keen interest in tools, kitchenware, sports equipment, cars, and bikes.2 Stephen is also an avid golfer with a handicap of 2.2 as of October 30, 2023.2
At Field Company, Stephen serves as the Product Lead and Brand Director, focusing on creating smoother, lighter cast iron skillets reminiscent of vintage pans.23 The company started with a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017 and has since grown into a respected brand in the cookware industry.4
