Project Coordinator - The Lab at the International Labour Organization

Coordinating the four-year USD 3.0 million Sida-funded Systems Change Initiative aimed to support the ILO and donor-funded projects to adopt a systemic approach to decent work. This includes overseeing the strategic project direction; managing project staff, budget and reporting; fundraising, and providing technical leadership and support to both field and headquarters based teams. Additionally, oversaw and technically led USD 550k inception phase MSD project in Ukraine, delivered during 10 months of war.

International Labour Organization

Systems Change Initiative Project Manager

Led technical support, backstopping and businesses development for ILO's market systems and value chain team. Provided analysis, implementation, measurement and knowledge generation support to projects in Myanmar, Ethiopia and Afghanistan. Principal author and project designer for three MSD projects which which have a total value of USD 8.5 million.

Inclusive Markets and Value Chains Lead

Managed knowledge generation project which demonstrates how the market systems approach can create more and better jobs. Project budget was USD 2.1 million over three years, with another USD 1.3 million funds raised to support knowledge generation initiatives. By its close, the project produced 40+ publications on the application of the market systems approach in themes ranging from: developing business models, child care markets, acheiving environmental and employment outcomes, driving change in the regulatory framework and better targeting initiatives in tourism, construction and global supply chains. Work included conducting sector selection and market systems analyses,  supporting market systems projects during implementation and monitoring results measurement across the global and in numerous sectors.

Project Coordinator - The Lab Phase 2

Interim coordinator for project in its final year. Worked as a specialist in market systems and monitoring and results measurement in the Lab project  (www.ilo.org/thelab). Collaborated with field projects to conduct market systems analyses, implement with the market systems approach and strengthen practical results measurement as well as developing and sharing the business case for better working conditions.

Technical Officer - The Lab Phase 1

•	Worked as the monitoring and results management (MRM) coordinator for market systems development project aimed at stimulating enterprise activity for Zambian rural youth in the soybean and aquaculture sectors. Set-up measurement and project management systems and provided technical support to troubleshoot interventions and business models.
•	Completed value chain analysis for the Zambian building construction sector for this MSME development project. Helped develop and prioritise a plan to improve sector growth and working conditions and presented findings to national stakeholders via an interactive workshop.

Consultant

•	In charge of the financial/budgeting operations at a school and responsible for managing 12 local staff.
•	Developed processes to automate accounting, payment and data collection processes organisation-wide including elements for the organisation’s new M&E programme.

Operations Manager Education

•	Managed the technical, financial and budgeting elements for a micro-finance programme with portfolio of 300 loans and for several adult vocation programmes. 
•	Organised the monitoring and evaluation frameworks and developed budgeting systems for non-income generating departments such as education and health.
