Co-Founder and CEO of Watchmaster, a pioneering re-commerce platform for certified pre-owned luxury watches. 

During my tenure driving the company's growth up to Series B, Watchmaster rapidly expanded its market reach and solidified its reputation as the go-to destination for luxury watch enthusiasts worldwide. Within the first two years, we achieved significant revenue growth, positioning Watchmaster as a rising challenger in the industry.

The experience of managing working capital challenges at Watchmaster inspired me to address similar issues faced by SMEs. Motivated by the cumbersome process of accessing working capital through traditional banking channels, I founded FinCompare next to revolutionize financing solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. Through FinCompare, we streamlined the financing process, empowering SMEs to access the capital they need to thrive and grow.

WATCHMASTER.COM

Founder & CEO

Successfully launched merchant marketing (B2B) and Inbound Sales for Groupon EMEA. Enabling Merchants (SMBs) to partner with Groupon, to generate new customers, measurable customer reach, brand awareness and revenue growth. 
- Responsible for merchant branding, value prop, and merchant facing communications: Developed merchant facing online resources such as website (GrouponWorks), blogs, FAQs, dashboards, social media assets across 24 countries
- Drove lead generation, SEM, SEO and digital marketing initiatives through my team (+300% lead growth YoY)
- Launched Merchant CRM, Marketing Automation and Newsletters (implemented Eloqua)
- Introduced Lifecycle management cadence to ensure merchant on-boarding and subsequent campaign and relationship management (>$50mio incremental revenue growth YoY attributed to B2B)
- Built Inbound Sales teams (From 0 to 40+ sales professionals within 2 month) and rolled out standardised on boarding and training
- Built Merchant Marketing team (From 0 to 8+ B2B marketing professionals within 6 month)

Groupon

Head of Merchant Marketing & Inbound Sales EMEA

Part of “One Playbook” team (Pangaea). Led a global change management initiative focused on standardizing how Groupon operates globally using Salesforce.com. I was responsible for operational implementing the global Salesforce instance in 10+ of Groupon's biggest markets in EMEA and LATAM. Working closely with Product, Engineering and Operations to ensure a fast and smooth roll-out to 4000+ employees.

Senior Manager Global Platform Integration

Led a number of initiatives within Groupon's Northern European operations, directly reporting to the C-Level leadership of the region. Some of my responsibilities were a turnaround initiatives in sales and operations, strategic planning for growth and organizational restructuring across 6 countries and 12 departments (HR restructuring, Int’l Deal Exchange, Product developments, Salesforce.com alignment, Business Intelligence, MSAT/CSAT programmes)

Manager, Strategy and Operations Northern Europe

Part of the investment team covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH). Worked on projects in several sectors, but mainly focusing on the leisure & cruise ship sectors. Responsible for thorough analysis of potential portfolio companies and market studies as well as financial modelling (DCF; Multiples).

Adapted the 2008 global marketing plan to Japanese specifications. Produced reports, analysing primary and secondary data on the Japanese car market, the competition, branding and pricing. Final presentation to Head of Marketing and Japan Strategy. Marketing plan was implemented.

Summer Internship: Worked in multiple teams. Main tasks were assisting account directors, preparing for campaign briefs, research potential marketing strategies for various industries and online marketing campaigns (Social Media and Display).

Worked in the product management department on the upcoming 2007 product toy lines. Strong collaboration with sales, production and supply management. Worked closely with Chinese suppliers and had multiple visits to factories in Shenzhen for quality control and product development.
