Sten Wie, Ph.D., is a highly accomplished cross-functional collaborator and science communicator with extensive experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, and business development. Wie received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where his research focused on cardiovascular biophysics. During his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado, he developed his leadership, project management, and business development skills, managing interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with key opinion leaders.

Wie is the Vice President of Business Development at Equa, a financial technology company providing blockchain-based solutions to businesses. He is also the founder of Allen Poe LLC, which works with early-stage companies to provide business development services. Additionally, Wie is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Colorado Bioscience Association, and has served as Community Support at Salt Lending Holdings Inc.

A skilled communicator and relationship builder, Wie has presented at multiple national conferences and institutional symposia. His passion for science has driven his career to new heights and afforded him the opportunity to work on projects which have resulted in approved patents and quality publications.
