Stella Ashaolu

Stella Ashaolu is a distinguished CEO and Founder of WeSolv, a revolutionary platform that fosters diversity in recruitment by connecting companies with a broader pool of candidates. She is also recognized as the Co-founder of Fifth Star Funds, an impactful philanthropic venture investing in Black founders at an early stage.

Stella's professional journey has been shaped by her MBA studies at USC Marshall School of Business, where she encountered the challenges of job hunting with an unconventional background. Drawing from her experience in management consulting, big data, and predictive analytics, she identified the significance of experiential learning for underrepresented individuals. This realization inspired her to develop a data-driven technology solution aimed at enhancing diversity in hiring processes for major corporations like Salesforce, Pinterest, and Discover.

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Stella is deeply involved in mentoring programs at Techstars, 1871, and is a prominent advocate for diversity in the Chicago tech community. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and remains committed to empowering diverse business candidates through her network of over 30,000 professionals.
