    At the U.S. Small Business Administration, Star served as a Senior Advisor in the Office of Veterans Business Development, with previous roles in the Office of Innovation and Technology, the Office of Disaster Assistance, the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development.

    Star also has experience outside of government agencies, having worked as the Director of CapNexus and as a Program Fellow at Partners for the Common Good. Additionally, Star has worked as a Consultant in Business Planning & Proposal Strategy under a self-employed capacity.

    Prior to these roles, Star was a Senior Analyst at the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) within the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
