Stanley King II

Stanley King is a seasoned corporate and business development executive in the biomedical industry with a passion for creative problem-solving and driving impact. His expertise lies in identifying opportunities and providing organizations with value while commercializing biomedical breakthroughs that change the world. King is also a strong advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion in life sciences. He studied for his PhD at the University of Virginia and obtained his BS at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he was a laboratory technician. He is also a Frontier Market Scouts Fellow from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

In his career, King has held various roles, including Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and former Vice President of Corporate Development and Senior Director of Business Development at Emulate, Inc. He also founded Door to the Outdoors, where he held a leadership position. Additionally, he has worked as a licensing manager at Boston Children's Hospital, a business development consultant at Harvard University, a business incubation fellow, and as a business development and technology licensing associate at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, MIT, and the University of Virginia Patent Foundation, respectively. He also worked as a doctoral student in the Neuroscience and Behavior Program at the University of Virginia.
