Stacey Foreman

Stacey Foreman is a media expert with over two decades of experience in building successful event businesses. She has worked closely with John Battelle, a serial media entrepreneur, in conceiving, developing, and executing numerous event platforms. She began her career at Wired Magazine in the early nineties and later helped launch The Industry Standard magazine and conference division, where she served as the Chief of Staff till the company's closure. Following that, she founded Stacey Foreman Productions, a conference development consultancy that has produced several multi-year event platforms since 2001.

She also built and managed Federated Media's conference division, which featured the flagship Conversational Marketing Summit. Her latest projects include the OpenCo Festival series and custom events for Boing Boing. Foreman's specialty lies in conference development and management, building and managing teams, business plans, and new business and product launches. She is highly skilled in event production and execution, project management, and event execution.

Foreman studied communications at the University of Maryland and attended Lower Merion High School and Upper Darby High School. She currently serves as Executive Producer at NewCo Festivals and has previously held executive positions at Modern Media Partners, The Industry Standard, Wired Magazine, and Heldref.
